Who we are

Carelytics LLC ("Carelytics," "we," "us") is a Virginia company that builds Marples, a HEDIS care gap and patient engagement platform for health plans, health systems and health centers. This policy covers our website, www.carelyticsllc.com, and the text messaging programs described below.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject and message.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our website host collect basic technical data such as your browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location from your IP address. We use cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to understand how the site is used.
• Text messaging information. If you agree to receive text messages through a program we run for your health plan or provider, we collect your mobile number, your consent record, and the messages you send and receive.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and schedule demonstrations.
• To run, secure and improve our website.
• To send the text messages you agreed to receive and to honor opt-out requests.
• To meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

Health information

When we work for a health plan or provider, any protected health information (PHI) we handle is governed by HIPAA and by a business associate agreement with that organization, not by this website policy. We use PHI only to provide services to that organization and as the law allows.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers who help us operate, such as website hosting, email and analytics providers, under obligations to protect it.
• With the health plan or provider on whose behalf we send text messages.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Carelytics, our clients or others.
• As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice where required.

Text messaging data: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver the messages.

Your choices

• You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some site features may not work without them.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law or our contracts with clients.

Children

Our website is meant for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
